The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers is communicating with relevant government departments about the widely-rumored " energy-saving car subsidy policy will be withdrawn in June " . Yesterday, Dong Yang, secretary general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, revealed at a press conference that it is basically certain that the subsidy will not be cancelled.

　　In May, the passenger car market continued to be sluggish, with a total sales of 1.0429 million vehicles, a month-on-month decrease of 8.71% . A year-on-year decrease of 0.11% , the first negative growth this year. From January to May , the growth rate of passenger car sales continued to decline compared with January to April . The sales of Japanese automakers Toyota and Honda's joint ventures in China fell sharply, and the market share of Japanese cars continued to decline. At present, the withdrawal of policies has the greatest impact on crossover passenger cars. The negative impact of the earthquake in Japan has further emerged, and some Japanese joint ventures have already experienced serious under-operation.

Talking about the " double decline " in 　　China's automobile production and sales , Dong Yang said that the government should no longer issue negative policies and news, and should consider encouraging the automobile industry, which has already slowed down significantly. The China Automobile Association called on all sectors of society, especially government departments, to pay attention to the sharp decline in production and sales growth since this year. " The automobile industry once played an important role in responding to the economic crisis. Due to its long industrial chain and wide involvement, it has a significant effect in stimulating economic growth. It is not appropriate to promote encouraging policies when it is applicable to the automobile industry, but now it is saying that the vehicle is saturated and constantly suppressing it. "

　　As of May , the inventory of vehicle manufacturers was 661,200 vehicles, down 145,500 vehicles from the end of 2010 , and the inventory showed a trend of decreasing month by month. The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said that due to the sharp decline in the overall growth rate of the industry, companies actively responded and the inventory decreased significantly.

　　Faced with numerous " unfavorable factors " , Dong Yang optimistically pointed out that the automobile export in May exceeded the record high in March 2008 , with an export of 72,100 vehicles. According to the export data of automobile enterprises compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in May , the export of automobile enterprises increased by 6.79% from the previous month , and the year-on-year growth rate was 53.03% . From January to May , the export volume was 225,400 vehicles, an increase of 56.72% over the same period last year .
